Our Patent Pending Design
As structural specialists, we have a keen eye for the
implications breast feeding in bed has on a child’s spine. We’ve come up with a
patented pillow design speaking to these concerns. Our pillow’s crescent shape
supports the baby’s head, spine, and pelvis keeping all three structures in
alignment and in a neutral position overall. This side lying position is
critical for proper “latch on” to the mother’s breast. The mother does not have
to hold or support the baby, the pillow does it all, allowing mom to have a more
relaxing and comfortable nursing experience and more restful night.
Integral to the pillows function is an LED light with a
pressure sensitive switch activated by pushing down on the top of the pillow. A
light bar embedded in the pillow’s foam core shines upward through a fiber
batting matrix and cotton top panel to create a soft ambient glow for the mother
to see what she is doing. The light box turns itself off after thirty minutes by
way of an internal programmable chip should mom fall asleep. This saves
considerably on battery life and gives piece of mind.
