Nurse-N-Glow Story |

Dr.
Laura Bartner and Dr. Robert Otten are chiropractors from the upstate
community of Windham N.Y. where they have been practicing for more than
thirteen years. The arrival of their daughter Emma, 2 months early,
made breast-feeding difficult in the early weeks. With great help from
LaLeche League leaders and the hospital’s lactation consultant staff Dr.
Laura and Emma were successfully breast feeding 4 weeks after her birth.
The Nurse-N-Glow pillow developed out of
necessity. “My wife, had devised a system of propping our newborn using
pillows and blankets to facilitate appropriate positioning for nursing
in bed. She found this tedious and cumbersome having to repeat it when
switching sides; so as not to disturb me, she used a small flashlight
directed into a pillow producing a soft lighted glow. This gentle
ambient lighting was enough for my wife to see our daughter breast
feeding without disturbing Emma or myself. From this, the Nurse-N-Glow
pillow concept was born. We are excited to bring you this revolutionary
lighted nursing pillow. We know that it will work as well for you as it
has (and still does) for us.”
